It all started one night...

July 2019, 7 a.m.

I look at myself in the mirror. For four months, I've only been sleeping in two-hour stretches. My body doesn't feel like myself anymore. My pajamas are covered in smelly milk stains. My night bra is soaked (a nursing pad has come loose again, oops). I swap it for a nursing bra whose look would horrify my grandmother.

And then I thought to myself: “This is really bad.”

What followed was a frantic search for breastfeeding-friendly lingerie that actually looked like… me. Just because I have a baby doesn't mean I want to become invisible. Why is it so difficult?
